Young singers are welcome from across London and beyond, to attend this well-established Young Voices Festival. Often whole choirs attend this event!

The afternoon will fly by, with the music to rehearse and polish (please learn the notes before the day!), and a one-hour break for tea and games/chill-out in the hall (4-5pm, juice and biscuits provided but please bring your own sandwiches).

Directed by Andrew Carwood (Director of Music at St Paul's Cathedral), assisted by Richard Brain & Alison Fisher, in the beautiful parish church of Christ Church, Southgate, this annual event is a real high-point for young singers and a chance to try singing in a different venue and make new friends.

Those working towards RSCM awards may wish to combine this event with the Awards Training morning (also on Saturday 3rd February) working on Section A and C syllabus content.

The music for the Young Voices Festival has been chosen from two books:

· The RSCM Bronze Collection Book

· O Lord Open Thou Our Lips

Both are published by RSCM Press and are available from the RSCM shop: https://www.rscmshop.com/

Alternatively, copies have been hired for this event which can obtained by contacting Richard Brain (richard.brain@rscmlondon.org.uk)
